She is incredibly kind, caring, and extremely knowledgeable, and she took the time to thoroughly explain everything and truly address my needs. I felt genuinely heard, supported, and at ease throughout the entire visit, which means so much during maternal care. I left feeling confident, relieved, and excited to come back. I can’t wait for my next appointment!Posted on Naomi BaldockTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. After visiting several different chiropractors looking for help during pregnancy, I tried this office and oh my goodness. I took my 15-month old son to get checked out by them for the first time too, and they discovered several issues that explained some of his struggles, which no one else had ever caught. They took their time with both of us, very meticulously going over everything to find out what was really going on and exactly what kind of help we each needed. I'm so grateful to be finishing this pregnancy under their care, I believe they will be great for my son, and this is who I'll be taking our baby too as well. Love love love!Posted on Corey MintonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Adjusted me after explaining the plan of treatment and I haven’t felt this good in a long time. Looking forward to my next appointment!!Posted on Hannah BlakeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have been going to Dr. Max and Dr. Morgan since 2018 and I could not be more happy with the care they have provided over the years. The amount of knowledge, skill and willingness to take the time to educate is more than I have received at any other medical appointment. Not to mention the atmosphere they provide feels more like visiting friends rather than the traditional “office visit” allowing a comfortable relationship that fosters open communication. There are not enough words to express the level of thanks and respect I have for Dr. Max and Dr. Morgan and I fully contribute my continued level of mobility to them both. I will continue to see them for as long as they are in practice and if they will continue to have me. I appreciate you both for all that you do and for not making me feel like just another number in the system.Posted on Joseph WilsonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was having constant wrist pain where I couldn't workout or even get out the bed. I was recommended Dr Max by a friend and within a couple of weeks I was back to full strength! Not only he helps to rehab but he also educates you on why your body is doing what it’s doing! If I ever have any issue again this will be the first place I will go!!! Thanks you guys sooo much!!!Posted on Downing BurkeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had my first visit today and couldn’t be happier! Dr. Morgan Bury was informative and kind. I talked with her about having menstrual cramps (literally at the time of my appointment), and she was able to make those go away. I’ve suffered severe cramps and back pain since adolescence, so to know I could have had it fixed by the right doctor without the struggles of birth control has dumbfounded me. I hope it continues! Anyway, I enjoyed this appointment more than I probably should have! :)Posted on Lindsay KitchenTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I absolutely love coming here. I started coming with lower back pains in June. After having my baby girl last August I have experienced these pains and done nothing about it. I thought it was normal due to the amount of weight I gained during my pregnancy. Man was I wrong. I have only had 7 appointments and my back feels amazing. I really feel like I’m 16 years old again. I am so happy I heard about The Maternal Chiropractic Center. I can’t wait to continue this journey with them to get my body back where it needs to be.Posted on Laura BuchananTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dr. Morgan is the absolute best. She really made me feel like she cared. I’ve had neck problems for years, but not anymore. Highly recommend her. I’ve gotten so much relief. Also such a positive atmosphere, which I really appreciate.

What Makes Us Different?
The Maternal Family Chiropractic Center is for getting you better! Our motto is “We love our patients, but we don’t like seeing our patients!” What does this mean? We are here to make you better and give you the tools so you don’t depend on us.
We employ a variety of methods in pursuit of that goal. You will receive Chiropractic adjustments utilizing evidence-based methods such as Gonstead, SOT/ Cranial Sacral Therapy, Logan basic, and Webster. Dr. Bury-Eriksen utilizes adjustments with low force (no Popping sound) or high speed (popping sound). Dr. Eriksen focuses on Gonstead specific adjustments and sports performance. We know you have already been through enough discomfort and want you to feel as comfortable as possible.
We treat soft tissue using both active and passive modalities. Therapies such as ultrasound/electric stimulation as well as trigger point therapy will help create comfort. Active therapies such as Neuromuscular Rehabilitation and exercises individualized to your deficiency create stability for a life long effect. The services we offer and how we perform them is sure to provide a patient experience above your expectations.
Gonstead procedures are the result of extensive clinical research by Clarence S.Gonstead, founder of the world famous Gonstead Clinic of Chiropractic in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin and his associates. Doctor Gonstead’s fifty-five years of continuous practice and over four million chiropractic adjustments resulted in the most complete method of biomechanical analysis available for use by today’s doctors of chiropractic. So why don’t all chiropractors use this technique? Because the analysis takes more time and mastering the art of delivering a specific adjustment takes a LOT of practice and dedication.
The Gonstead Chiropractor goes beyond what many chiropractors consider a spinal assessment by conducting a thorough analysis of your spine using five criteria to detect the presence of the vertebral subluxation complex.
Visualization — Visualization is a way to cross reference all the other findings. Your chiropractor is an expert in looking for subtle changes in your posture and movement which could indicate any problems.
Instrumentation — The instrument of choice in the Gonstead System is the Nervoscope. The Nervoscope detects uneven distributions of heat along the spine which can be indicative of inflammation and nerve pressure. This instrument is guided down the length of your back and feels like two fingers gliding down each side of your spine.
Static Palpation — This is simply the process of feeling (or palpating) your spine in a stationary (or static) position. Your chiropractor will feel for the presence of swelling (or edema), tenderness and any abnormal texture or tightness in the muscles and other tissues of your back.
Motion Palpation — This process involves feeling the spine while moving and bending it at various angles. This enables the chiropractor to determine how easily or difficult each segment in your spine moves in different directions.
X-Ray Analysis — X-ray films enable your doctor to visualize the entire structure of your spine. This is helpful in evaluating posture, joint and disc integrity, vertebral misalignments and ruling out any pathologies, or recent fractures that may be present or contributing to the patient’s condition. These full-spine radiographs are taken in the standing, weight-bearing position to fully substantiate the examination findings.
