Dr. Eriksen is an Elizabethtown native who grew up skateboarding, ATVing, and Racing. He drove racecars on speed channel in 2005 and was 3rd in the nation. This experience in racing also led to many wrecks which gives him intimate knowledge on how to treat whiplash and various other vehicle related traumas! He attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport,IA like his father Dr. William C. Eriksen D.C. and 4 other siblings. Chiropractic definitely runs in his blood and he will continue that legacy with his wife and future children. Since returning to E-town, he worked at Eriksen Chiropractic while opening Twelve Gym, and Etown Comics, in the Towne Mall.
Education
Dr. Eriksen completed his undergraduate and chiropractic degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic. Dr. Max has certifications in Mckenzie protocol and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, which he uses to help patients become stronger and more stable. He has extensively studied human movement and regularly trains athletes and soldiers how to perform better. The Opening of his American Ninja Warrior gym encouraged him to pursue Ninja Coach certifications through Ninja Sports International and Ultimate Ninja Athletes Association. When he isn’t working he enjoys playing Mario with Dr. Morgan, walking his dalmatian Roxy, hanging with his Son Thor, or tinkering with his 63 Lincoln Continental.
